In 2017, Courtview Justice Solutions Inc. and Northpointe Inc. formed equivant. The portfolio was created to serve the justice community more effectively under a single name and to focus on delivering superior solutions and results for everyone within the justice system. Since equivant was formed, we’ve continually broadened our solutions and are now a 360-degree justice solution supplier.

Constellation Software, Inc. (CSI) is a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange with an average growth of 38% year-over-year, over $5 billion in gross revenue, and over $310 million in net income. CSI has six major portfolios, its oldest being Volaris, in which the equivant portfolio resides.

Our applications are hosted through Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, meaning our customers only need a high-speed internet connection to access our solutions.

On-site applications require an agency-provided array of hosting infrastructure, including redundant power, redundant telecommunications, redundant switching and routing, and access to uninterrupted power in the event of power outages to the local facility. In contrast, hosted applications offer a trusted and secure environment without the responsibility of managing multiple vendor agreements and providing 7×24 staffing and infrastructure operations. Implementation time and overall investment are also vastly decreased through a third-party hosting platform.

Onboarding is dependent on a variety of aspects and permissions that must be taken care of at the onset of any engagement. However, your team will be assigned an Implementation Specialist to walk you through every step of the process and who will own keeping all details moving on our end to ensure that you and your team can get up and running as soon as possible. Find out more about our implementation services.

Absolutely. Our dedicated Customer Care team is available to you if an issue arises, a question pops up, or if a new need emerges. Our current customers can always feel free to open a ticket using our customer portal here.

equivant combines the Latin word ‘Aequitas’ and the English word ‘Vantage’. Aequitas in Latin means justice and equality, which represents our determination to help our communities improve the administration and application of public safety and justice. The word Vantage means a position, condition, or place affording some advantage or a commanding view. Our vantage of technology and wisdom from dedication and experience.

equivant Court solutions support professionals in administrative law and all courts, including but not limited to state, local, juvenile, probate, and municipal courts.

Yes. We have experience with all sizes of implementations, including large-scale, statewide implementations in both Alaska and Massachusetts.

Over the years, we’ve continually broadened our solutions set to address the needs of our customers. This has sometimes meant more than one person from our business contacting a single agency, potentially confusing our market with fragmented representation. At other times, we’ve found that customers are unaware of the breadth of justice solutions we provide and may miss the opportunity to take full advantage of our collective expertise. Rebranding has meant presenting ourselves as the 360-degree justice solution supplier that we are.

As part of our rebranding efforts, we wanted to ensure you had the best experience visiting our website. To do that, we have developed multiple sites focused on a particular sector and product offering. equivant.com will now act as a landing page for all equivant products and sectors while offering information about Mergers and Acquisitions.

Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) allows constituents to resolve family cases, small claims, and traffic/criminal cases online from anywhere. It improves court efficiency, reduces Failure to Appear, and increases access to justice, all while integrating seamlessly with your equivant Court Case Management System.

Yes. We offer an eServices Suite that extends access to your court partners and community members. You can configure portal access so stakeholders can easily schedule appearances, make online payments, and electronically file documents.
