It’s been a busy and exciting year! Our vision at equivant is to simplify justice for all, and a big part of making that happen is by developing innovative solutions that help our customers tackle their biggest pain points. We are proud to announce that JWorks was recognized as “Case Management Innovation of the Year” in the 4th annual LegalTech Breakthrough Awards program conducted by LegalTech Breakthrough, a leading independent market intelligence organization that evaluates and recognizes standout legal technology companies, products, and services around the globe.
Why equivant JWorks Drives Innovation
JWorks’ innovative design streamlines processes and improves communication in courts and justice agencies. But what makes JWorks so innovative is that justice agencies can tailor the solution to meet their unique needs while creating different views and workflows for each role.
“Many justice agencies are struggling with staffing issues and a backlog of cases. JWorks allows these agencies to resolve cases faster while also enabling community members to easily make payments online and efficiently access information. Congratulations to equivant and JWorks, our pick for ‘Case Management Innovation of the Year!’” said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director of LegalTech Breakthrough Awards. “For a court to function effectively, modern robust justice solutions are vital. JWorks simplifies justice by boosting efficiency, streamlining routine tasks, and helping justice agencies zero in on their cases with this next-generation, completely tailorable solution.”
Understanding the Functionality of JWorks
JWorks automates all Clerk and Court operations without hardcoded features. Powered by case and workflow, it automatically sets tasks, events, and reminders and allows for custom-designed screens and logic that work for a court’s unique processes and requirements. It performs equally well on any device, so stakeholders can access and manage the information they need at any time or place. JWorks supports general and limited jurisdiction courts and provides a strong foundation for an integrated system that can conform to or with the National Court Component Model.
During the implementation process, equivant helps build customized dashboards. However, admin-level users can easily update the views, dashboards, and workflows as their agency grows and/or changes.
“We developed JWorks with industry experts who kept adaptability and flexibility in mind from the beginning. The flexibility of JWorks coupled with our Implementation and Customer Care teams allow our clients to start seeing improved efficiency and streamlined operations right away,” said Stuart Rosove, General Manager, equivant. “We want to thank LegalTech Breakthrough for this recognition and, rest assured, we’ll continue to work to improve the solution and deliver additional functionality to ensure that all customer needs are being met.”
We are honored to have received this award! We are proud of our company and our innovative solutions, but we know there is always room for improvement, and we will continue working to make our solutions the best they can be for our customers.
